We are totally committed to providing all of our Security Officers with on-going professional training. There is a comprehensive training schedule which starts with induction training, and goes right through to BTEC & Edexcel Level 3. Our training takes place in our dedicated training rooms in the Branch Offices, or on-site at the Customer’s premises if appropriate. Our Training Manager is an NVQ qualified Assessor.

Induction:
Core competency training is delivered in three parts as follows:
Part One:
Knowledge based training and assessment (22.5 hours)

Part Three:
First Aid.
Although First Aid Training is not a compulsory module within the Security Sector, we have incorporated standard training criteria, providing New Recruits with a full five day course.
Security Officers may then follow their career progression within the following structure:

Designed for Officers seeking Supervisory or Management status, and is a comprehensive distance learning programme. The format mirrors that of the Professional Security Officer.

First Aid Training:
The required standard of competent skills for the course is shown below and has been demonstrated and assessed. The courses are “H.S.E. Approved”, meet the standards of the Health & Safety
Executive (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the current H.S.E. approved code of practice. The certificate is valid for a period of three years.

We are proud to announce that all employees will have been trained to NVQ 2 by December 2009 and NVQ 3 by end of year 2010; this is an Eagle Gold requirement. Providing government funding allocation.
